At Hatching™, care includes being thoughtful about the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how Hatching LLC, doing business as Hatching (“Hatching,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares personal information through hatching.me, our website forms, email subscriptions, and appointment scheduling.
It also explains how to contact us about your information and the choices available to you. If a particular program or service has an additional privacy notice, we will provide it where that information is collected.
Information you share with us
We collect information you choose to provide when you contact us, complete a form, subscribe to our emails, or schedule a conversation. Depending on your interaction, this may include:
- Your name and email address.
- Your phone number, organization, and professional role, if requested and provided.
- The content of your inquiry and any other information you include in a message or form.
- Appointment details, such as your selected date and time, time zone, and responses to scheduling questions.
- Your communication preferences and subscription or consent records.
Please provide only information relevant to your request. Avoid including medical records, financial account information, or confidential information about other people in general contact or scheduling forms.
Information collected through website and email use
Our website and the providers that support it may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website, and dates and times of access. The information collected depends on the tools in use and your settings.
Cookies and similar technologies may support website operation, security, preferences, and embedded features. See the cookie information below for details about the tools active on this website.
Our marketing emails use Mailchimp tracking technologies to report whether emails are opened and links are clicked. We use this information to understand engagement and improve our communications.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to questions, inquiries, and requests.
- Schedule and manage conversations and send related confirmations or reminders.
- Provide information or resources you request.
- Send newsletters, updates, and information about Hatching’s offerings when you subscribe or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.
- Operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve our website and communications.
- Maintain appropriate business records, comply with legal obligations, and address disputes or misuse.
Where consent is required, we obtain it for the relevant collection or use. You may withdraw consent by contacting us, subject to applicable legal or contractual limits. We will explain if doing so affects our ability to fulfill your request. Reading this policy or visiting the website does not by itself subscribe you to marketing emails.
Providers that support our website
We use service providers to support our website, communications, and scheduling. Information is made available to these providers as needed for their services. Some providers also process information for their own purposes as described in their privacy notices.
Mailchimp. We use Mailchimp to manage email subscriptions and send email communications. Information processed through Mailchimp can include your name, email address, subscription preferences, and email engagement information when tracking is enabled. Mailchimp’s legal page links to the applicable Intuit privacy statement: Mailchimp privacy and legal information.
Calendly. We use Calendly to schedule conversations. When you book, your scheduling details and form responses are processed through Calendly and made available to Hatching. Relevant appointment information may also be passed to connected calendar services used to manage the meeting. Learn more in Calendly’s Privacy Notice.
Website forms and hosting. Information submitted through our forms is processed through our website, form tools, and related hosting or email services so we can receive and respond to your request.
accessiBe. We use accessiBe to provide accessibility features on our website. Information processed by its tools depends on the features used and their configuration. More information is available in accessiBe’s Privacy Notice.
These providers’ notices describe their own practices. Hatching remains your point of contact for questions about how we use information collected through our website and services.
Other disclosures of information
We may disclose information to people who support our operations and need it to perform their work; when required by law or valid legal process; or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security. Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of our business, subject to applicable privacy requirements.
If you request or authorize another disclosure, we may share information for that purpose.
Cookies and your choices
You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Doing so may affect certain website features, and browser cookie controls may not manage every type of tracking technology.
Third-party pages you visit, such as Calendly booking pages, may offer their own cookie controls. Consult the relevant provider’s notice for its settings.
Email preferences
You can unsubscribe from Hatching marketing emails through the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by contacting us at support@hatching.me. We will honor your request within the time required by applicable law.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary communications about an appointment, inquiry, or service you requested. We may retain limited information to record and respect your unsubscribe preference.
Retention and protection of information
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, considering the nature of the information, our relationship with you, and applicable legal, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable requirements and backup retention cycles.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International processing
Our providers may store or process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live, and information may be accessible to courts or authorities under local law. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use the required safeguards.
Privacy requests
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access personal information, receive a copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, withdraw consent, or object to or restrict certain processing. Additional rights may include opting out of certain advertising-related processing, appealing a decision about a request, or complaining to a relevant privacy regulator.
Contact support@hatching.me to make a request or raise a concern. We may need to verify your identity before responding and will request only information reasonably needed for that purpose. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Rights may be subject to exceptions; if we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason and any applicable next steps. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Children’s privacy
Our website is intended for a general adult and professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
Links to other websites
Our website may link to other organizations or services. This policy does not describe their separate data practices. Please review their privacy notices before providing information to them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy with a revised date and provide additional notice or request consent when required by law.
